I ordered a custom poke bowl and a tea and this was by far the BEST I’ve ever had. The food was incredible, fresh and well prepared, the attention to detail was evident. The tea was delicious, super tasty without being overwhelming. It was a to go order and everything was neatly packaged.
The moment you walk in the place you can tell it will be an awesome experience!
I visited this place once during a business trip. The taste of this small restaurant is a great blend, maybe you could call it an American twist on Japanese flavors.
This adorable new restaurant occupies the former space of Poke Brothers downtown on Gay Street. Building on the menu of the former business, Poke Bunny also features delicious Japanese noodle options, bubble tea, and dinner entrees.
My advice is to be patient, plan your selections in advance, and/or call ahead. Everything is made to order by their friendly, but small staff. Their fresh offerings and have already earned this tiny shop a devoted following and they are always rocking at lunch hour!
Matty Recommends the Tempura Udon with Shrimp and fresh Kim Chi! I’d also love to see less reliance on single-use plastic for dining-in!
I ❤️ Poke 🐰
This was a great place to eat some poke bowls. Liked that you can do a custom order from the menu sheet. Also have great bubble teas and shakes. Plus they gave some kimchi samples and 10% off our orders for a grand opening special.
Stopped in for some quick bubble tea and it was great. The tapioca pearls were a good texture and the tea itself was yummy (forgot to take a picture until I was basically done with it). Pretty standard good bubble tea but exactly what you want. The service was great and the woman working was very sweet and helpful. Will definitely return the next time I’m downtown
